Why Permanent Lighting

Never climb a ladder for Christmas lights again.

Celebright is a smart, low-maintenance architectural lighting system designed to stay up year-round. Professionally installed once. App-controlled forever. The bulbs are nearly invisible during the day and transform your home at night.

No Seasonal Setup

No more dragging out the ladder every November. No more taking down lights in January. The system installs once and stays put — quietly waiting until you push a button in the app.

Energy Efficient

The entire 24V LED system draws less power than a single 60W bulb running 100 lights. Cool to the touch, kind to your electric bill, kind to the planet.

App-Controlled

The Celebright Cloud app gives you control from anywhere. Change colors, schedule scenes, set sunrise/sunset triggers — all from your phone. Works with Google Home, Alexa, and IFTTT.

Built-In Security

Automate lighting to create the appearance of someone home while you travel. Pathways and entries can stay softly lit all night. Peace of mind that comes built into the system.

Built To Last

Bulbs rated for 50,000 hours — that's roughly 20 years of nightly use. Aluminum tracks with UV-rated covers. Waterproof connections. Engineered for every Carolina weather pattern.

Pays For Itself

Most homeowners who currently pay for seasonal light install/removal recoup their Celebright investment within three years. After that, it's pure savings — for two more decades.

One System. Endless Scenes.

From quiet Tuesdays to packed game days.

Sixteen million colors per bulb, billions of combinations across the system. Built-in presets for every holiday — and a scene builder for everything in between.

Christmas

Classic red & green, white twinkle, or custom holiday scenes.

Halloween

Orange and purple ambiance, dancing flames, eerie pulses.

July 4th

Red, white & blue waves. Sparkle bursts. Patriotic pride.

Game Day — Red & Black

NC State, Wolfpack colors, app-controlled sports triggers.

Game Day — Carolina Blue

Tar Heel pride and Duke alternative blues with white accents.

Everyday Ambiance

Warm whites and soft golds for dinner parties and quiet evenings.

Diwali & Celebrations

Gold, orange, and red — built-in presets for cultural holidays.

Custom Scenes

Birthdays, weddings, anniversaries — build any scene you can imagine.

How It Works

Engineered to disappear, designed to perform.

The Celebright system was built in-house from the ground up — track, bulb, control box, and app are all designed to work as one. Here's what gets installed on your home.

  1. The Control Box

A small, weatherproof control box mounts in your garage or outdoors. It converts standard 120V household power into the safe 24V the lights run on — and connects to your home's WiFi for app control.

  2. Aluminum Soffit Track

Low-profile, color-matched aluminum tracks install along your soffits and rooflines. The track hides all wiring, protects the lights from weather and UV, and sits flush against your home for a clean architectural look.

  3. 20mm RGBW LED Bulbs

Compact 20mm frosted bulbs nest inside the track, evenly spaced. Each one is individually addressable — meaning you can light a single bulb red, the next white, the next green, and create any pattern you want.

  4. The Celebright Cloud App

Free app for iOS and Android (4.8 and 4.6 stars). Cloud-connected so you can control your lights from anywhere with internet. Preset scenes for every holiday plus a custom scene builder.

Safety & Standards

Low voltage by design. Code-compliant by partnership.

The Celebright LED system runs on 24V — well within the low-voltage classification. But every installation also requires a properly wired 120V power source for the control box. That's why Madison Sky partners exclusively with licensed local electricians for the power side of every job.

Low Voltage Side
24V DC LED System

What runs through your soffits.

Once power reaches the Celebright control box, everything beyond that point — the tracks, the bulbs, the connecting wires — operates on safe 24V DC. The bulbs stay cool to the touch. Connections are sealed and waterproof. The whole system uses about as much power as a single 60W bulb.

  • 24V DC operating voltage — inherently low-risk
  • Sealed waterproof connections throughout
  • Cool-running LEDs that don't generate fire risk
  • ETL Listed (Listing #5023546)
  • Certified to UL 2108 and CSA C22.2 #250.2 standards
High Voltage Side
120V AC Power Supply

Where licensed electricians come in.

The control box needs to plug into a properly installed 120V outlet — usually a dedicated, GFCI-protected exterior outlet that meets North Carolina electrical code. That work is done by our partner licensed electricians, never by a lighting installer playing electrician.

  • Licensed NC electricians for all 120V work
  • Dedicated GFCI-protected outlet installations
  • Code-compliant breaker connections
  • Pulled permits where required by jurisdiction
  • Electrician stands behind their own power work

Why this matters for your home.

Most permanent lighting installers do all of the electrical work themselves — including the 120V side. We don't think that's right. Madison Sky stays in our lane (lighting, soffits, exterior craftsmanship) and lets licensed electricians handle the high-voltage side. You get certified expertise on both sides of the install — and clean separation of liability if anything ever needs warranty service.

Frequently Asked

Honest answers to the questions you should be asking.

If we miss something, give us a call. Real conversations beat marketing copy every time.

Is Celebright permanent lighting really low voltage?
Yes. The entire LED lighting system operates on 24V DC — well within the low-voltage classification. A small control box converts standard 120V household power into safe 24V for the lights. The bulbs themselves stay cool to the touch, draw very little power (about the same as a single 60W bulb for 100 lights), and pose minimal electrical risk. The system is ETL Listed and certified to UL 2108 and CSA C22.2 standards.
Do I need a licensed electrician for permanent lighting installation?
Yes — and that's why Madison Sky partners exclusively with licensed local electricians for every Celebright installation. While the 24V lighting itself doesn't require an electrician, the control box must be connected to a properly wired 120V outlet — typically a dedicated, GFCI-protected exterior outlet. Our electrician partners handle that side of the install to ensure everything meets North Carolina electrical code. You get the best of both worlds: certified lighting specialists installing the system, and licensed electricians handling the power.
How does Celebright permanent lighting actually work?
A small control box mounts in your garage (or outdoors) and connects to a 120V outlet. Low-profile aluminum tracks are installed along your soffits, holding compact 20mm RGBW LED bulbs that sit flush against the roofline. The bulbs are nearly invisible during the day. At night, you use the Celebright Cloud app on your phone to control colors, scenes, and schedules — with 16 million color options per bulb.
Are the lights really invisible during the day?
Yes — that's one of the system's biggest advantages over traditional Christmas lights. The aluminum track sits tight against the soffit and is color-matched to your home. The bulbs themselves are tiny (just 20mm — smaller than most competitors). From the ground, the system blends into the architecture and is barely noticeable in daylight. At night, it transforms your home.
How long does a permanent lighting installation take?
Most residential installations are completed in a single day. The Madison Sky team handles the track, bulbs, and control box installation. Our licensed electrician partner handles the 120V power supply work, which typically happens the same day or shortly before. We walk you through the app at the end of the install so you can start enjoying your lights immediately.
What can I do with the lights besides Christmas?
Everything. Halloween (orange/purple), July 4th (red/white/blue), Diwali, St. Patrick's Day, birthdays, NC State or Carolina game days, custom team colors, warm-white ambiance for dinner parties, pathway/security lighting, accessibility lighting — and scenes you build yourself. The Celebright app has built-in presets and lets you create custom scenes for any occasion. Many homeowners use the lights year-round, not just for holidays.
Does the system integrate with smart home platforms?
Yes. Celebright integrates with Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and IFTTT. You can control your lights with voice commands, automate them based on schedules, sunrise/sunset, or even sports triggers that react in real-time to your team's games.
What warranty comes with Celebright permanent lighting?
Celebright backs the system with a 10-year manufacturer warranty. Bulbs are rated for 50,000 hours of use — roughly 20 years at 6-8 hours per day. Madison Sky Construction provides our own workmanship warranty on the installation itself, and the licensed electrician partner stands behind their power supply work.
How much does permanent lighting cost in North Carolina?
Cost is driven primarily by linear footage of soffit being covered and the complexity of your roofline. We provide free, no-obligation quotes — and for many homes, we can measure remotely from Google Maps imagery and get you a quote within a day. Most homeowners find the system pays for itself within three years compared to paying for annual installation and removal of seasonal lights. Visit our financing page for payment options.
